Note: This work was part of the “Bears” exhibit, featuring thirty paintings by five different gallery artists. A portion of the proceeds from this exhibit went to the Kicking Horse Country Grizzly Bear Society, to help support “Boo”, a grizzly who entered the refuge in 2003 as a cub, after his mother was shot by a poacher. He is well known to locals for his escapades and for twice escaping his large enclosure.
