Picking Up or Shipping Your Art
You can pick up or arrange shipping for your successful purchases on the first business day after an auction closes. Get all the information you’ll need to pick up your purchases, or view our list of trusted shippers and art handlers for delivery.
Picking Up Your Artwork
If you’ve successfully bid on an item in one of our auctions, you can pick-up from our location at 4115-7005 Fairmount Dr. SE in the week after the auction ends.
Please note that payment must be received before we will release your item.
We welcome and encourage you to call or email us if you have a preferred date and time to pick up. Our friendly staff will be ready to assist you. Please ensure that you have your identification available to show us at pick-up.
Every Hodgins Auction outlines the pick-up deadline for sold lots on the auction page – our standard deadline is within 7 days of an auction closing. If you have won an item in one of our auctions, please ensure you refer to these deadlines to avoid incurring storage fees.
If you can’t pick-up before the deadline, please contact us. Items left beyond our pick-up deadline with no communication from the buyer will be moved to long term storage, at an additional fee, and will require 24 hours notice to pick up. Storage charges will apply without exception.
In order to have someone other than the purchaser pick up an item from a Hall’s Auction sale, we must receive express permission from the buyer to release their purchase.
Please contact us via phone or email to provide the first and last name of the person who will pick-up on your behalf.
Note that we are unable to authorize the release any purchase from anyone other than the buyer if we have not received express permission from the buyer.
Shipping Your Artwork
Hodgins Art Auctions does not provide packing or shipping services in-house. Below, you will find our list of recommended shippers and delivery companies, who will work with you directly to set up your shipment.
Payment must be received before contacting a shipper, and goods will not be released without payment or explicit authorization.
