Note: In 1967 Eric L. Harvie (founder of the Glenbow) established the Riveredge Foundation in order to continue his diverse collecting interests while maintaining personal control over the collection. The Riveredge Collection was eventually transferred to the Glenbow-Alberta Institute in 1979.
