One time a family came to our camp. They brought with them 20 horses. The whole village stopped and watched when they rode in. Then the father of the family walked straight to where the old man lived. Nobody had ever seen this kind of offering made before. The old man came out of his lodge. He stood there while the offering of the 20 horses was made. Words were spoken, and then the father and his family left and the old man returned to his lodge. They say the old man sat for four days and four nights without eating or drinking. He just sat there in prayer, staring up at the clouds. Some people say he walked in the clouds.
