Note: In 2006, the National Fund for Culture and the Arts in Mexico granted Cesar Damian a fellowship to attend an artist’s residence at The Banff Centre, which led to his series Radiografías (X-rays). With this project, Damian was chosen to participate in the Calgary-Banff Photography Festival (February/March 2007). At the same time, Damian attended a second residence at The Banff Centre to continue working on this series.
