Note: Born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan, Brian Marion is an indigenous artist who grew up amongst the Salteau and Cree of the prairies, and later the Ojibwa of Northern Ontario. In 1975, he embarked on a 9 year apprenticeship with Norval Morrisseau.
