Note: This is one of 18 works Chee Chee painted and delivered to his agent shortly before his untimely and tragic death. It is from the collection now known as the “Black Geese Portfolio”.

The book was published to coincide with this second retrospective of Chee Chee’s work, curated by Robert Houle. The first retrospective was held in 1983. The third, “Benjamin Chee Chee Life & Legacy”, ran recently from December 6, 2019- March 1, 2020, with a subsequent tour.
